Community

Our church is involved in serving our local community on many different levels.

Alpha Course

is an internationally successful introduction to Christianity course.  It’s a really nice meal, followed by a video presentation, and then open discussion.  We run the course yearly in the autumn.

Christians Against Poverty

is a simple, yet highly effective money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a cash-based system that really works. This course will help anyone to get more in control of their finances and prevent debt.

Contact the Elderly

is a registered charity that organise regular Sunday afternoon tea parties for people over 75, who live with little or no social support.  We run our tea parties on the first Sunday afternoon monthly.

Enderby Mission United

is our church football team.  We play in the Rich & Carr Solicitors Division 1 League.  People don’t have to be part of our church to play, but they do need to be good at football, and able to control their language.

Jakin

is a pregnancy care and counselling service, supporting those who are facing an unplanned pregnancy or struggling after pregnancy loss.  Appointments can be made through our church or directly through Jakin.

Our church is also involved in the wider community of the world.  We give away 10% of our income continually to needs around the world.  We also support individual ministries and missionaries.  Many of us have been on short or longer term missions trips ourselves; and we are heavily involved in a ministry to slum children in the Punjab called ‘Morning Star Ministries’.
